Outfits: Circle Skirt

Tight mini skirts have been booted off center stage now that circle skirts have made a comeback. These breezy skirts will be a staple for this years spring and summer and thankfully can be found in almost every store now, with a wide variety of colors and lengths. I've been absolutely lusting over these skirts until finally getting my hands on this black one from H&M that honestly goes with just about everything.

What's Trending: Pointed Heels

Nothing says "lady" more than a pair of pointed-toe high heels; you get the sexiness of the high heel mixed with the elegance of the old-fashioned pointed toe. However, old-fashioned does not have to mean "boring"; here are some of my favorite pumps that embody 2013's spring trends. The Carrie Diaries

The CW's newest hit TV show The Carrie Diaries has brought it's entire audience of teen girls back to the glamorous 1980's. Taking place between the quiet suburbs of Connecticut and the not-so-quiet streets of New York City, you get a taste of the casual and dressed-up style of Carrie's everyday outfits as she goes to school and her high-profile internship at Interview Magazine. With sequins, neon, and crazy animal prints, the outfits on the show will definitely put you in a Madonna mood.

Lifestyles: Home and Office

Recently my Tumblr dashboard has been filled with gorgeous home and office decor that radiates simplicity and sophistication and I cannot seem to take myself away from these images. With the white walls and fashion coffee table books and especially the tulips, I sincerely hope my home or office could one day look like this.

What's Trending: Bralettes and Bustiers

It's finally that long awaited time of year where we can say goodbye to heavy scarves and gloves and hellooo to bright colors and short skirts (here in California at least-- I pity those who are currently being snowed on). I have been absolutely dying to break out my spring dresses and crop tops and all that!

Spring and summer are all about those little pops of color that essentially make the outfit. Last year bandeau tops were all the rage, but since then-- and I think I can speak for all of us here-- its been quite annoying to have to constantly monitor that our bandeaus haven't fallen down and we aren't completely flashing everyone. Alas bralettes and bustiers have been my new favorite way to have the same peek-a-boo effect that bandeaus have, yet minus the accidental strip tease.

Outfit of the Day: Studded & Floral (featuring LF!)

My friend Ali and I had the great pleasure of being able to market for the store LF during their seasonal sale. We had an amazing experience during the sale to be able to style ourselves in their clothing; my dream of having a whole store as my closet finally came true!
